The Trojans were crowned NFCII North Champions this weekend with a very comfortable win against the Glasgow Tigers who just 7 days earlier handed them their first defeat of the season.
The Trojans racked up 60 points on the day against the Tigers who were missing some key players from last weeks encounter.
Defence added 2 scores with DL Ross Cavanagh and Brett Jones adding a TD each from a blocked punt return and a fumble recovery in the end zone.

1st Quarter - The game started with the Tigers missing 2 key players in RB Mo Adams and MLB Thompson Sunerton both these players were stand out players 7 days ago, but it was obvious early on how much an influence they where to the Tigers. After trading punts the Trojans took the lead when RB josh Polson scored from close range.

2nd Quarter - The Trojans offence exploded in the 2Q which would see them scoring 34 points with 3 scores from go to WR Murray Hogg another from WRB Josh Polson and the final score from DL Ross Cavanagh after the Trojans blocked a Tigers punt. RB Josh Polson and WR Murray Hogg would add 2 PAT to complete the scoring for the first half.

3rd Quarter – The game was now using a running clock so both teams started rotating players for game time, the Trojans would add another score whe RB Chris Lang scored from 12yds and WR David Pasnik added the extra point.

4th Quarter – The Trojans would round off a great performance with 2 more scores in the 4Q from WR Calum MacAskill nd the final from DL Brett Jones who recovered a Tigers fumble in the end zone.

Trojans HC Gary McNey commented “We knew if we cut out our mistakes and played Trojans football we would secure the win, we di not expect the Tigers to be missing their strongest players both sides of the ball which did have a say on the final score”
“The offence worked well today putting points on the board, but I got to give praise to the defensive lineman Ross and Brett who had their eye on the ball and both scored TD”
